What do you know about Tanzania?

Tanzania is a day old today. It is located in the eastern part of Africa.roups. The official language of the country is Swahili and English, its also has different religions: Christianity, Islam and Traditional religions. Their currency is the Tanzania Shillingi. The mineral deposits include gold, diamonds, gemstone, coal and natural gas. The country was actually known as Tanganyika in 1920. Tanganyika gained independence in 1961 and became a republic in 1962. In 1964, it united with Zanzibar uy President Julius Nyererere until 1985. The country subsequently experienced both political and economic struggles; it held its first multiparty elections in 1995. Why my interest in this country? A good question, we both need this informatas its medium in secondary school while Swahil is used in primary school,thereby making the students to understand and speak both languages.
